How It Works
The CSR kit adds a high-microfarad start capacitor (235 MFD) in parallel with the existing run capacitors during the compressor start cycle. Once the motor reaches approximately 75–80% of its operating speed, the potential relay automatically drops the start capacitor out of the circuit, leaving the dual run capacitors (20+30 MFD) in place for normal operation. This brief but powerful boost in starting torque reduces compressor wear, lowers inrush current duration, and extends equipment service life.
