How It Works
As zone dampers close throughout a zoned system, static pressure in the supply duct rises. The SPRD-12 senses this increase and opens proportionally to divert air back to the return side, keeping system static pressure within a safe operating range. When pressure normalizes, the damper returns to its set position — all without any electrical input.
